Michael Ricciardello comes from a family of attorneys. One Aunt is a private practice attorney, one Aunt is a federal administrative judge, two Uncles that are private practice attorneys. Michael's Dad's side of the family are mostly attorneys practicing in Texas.
Michael showed interest in the law in undergrad when he completed an internship at the Brazos County District Attorney’s office. After his first year of law school he worked at the same district attorneys office in Texas prosecuting felony crimes. Working in a prosecutors office has given Michael first hand experience of the other side of the aisle. Also during law school Michael worked with the Detroit Mercy School of Law, Criminal Trial Clinic. He represented clients on countless misdemeanor matters in the 38th District Court.
After Law School Michael passed the bar and began his career as a Criminal Defense attorney. He has been in nearly every District and Circuit court in the state of Michigan. It is his passion to help and defend members of his community in criminal courts all over Michigan. His practice is mainly focused on criminal law. During 2013 – 2016 he worked for a criminal defense firm where he was in court around 300 times per year. Michael has developed his skills and reputation as an attorney that fights for his clients and achieves the best results possible. Being in court this many times Michael has developed countless relationships with prosecutors, courts, and court staff that makes his navigation of the court system for clients easier.
Michael is originally from Jackson Michigan and enjoys being there with his family whenever he can. Michael is an avid golfer and enjoys golfing all over the state of Michigan whenever he can.
